This fall, we bid a heartfelt farewell to Johanna Snyder, who has stepped into an exciting new role at United Way. Johanna’s leadership and dedication helped shape our Food Pantry into the strong community resource it is today, and we are deeply grateful for her service.
At the same time, we are excited to welcome Christion Gilbert as our new Food Pantry Coordinator. Christion will continue building on Johanna’s legacy, ensuring that families in need have consistent, dignified access to food.
Our Food Pantry remains a proud partnership with Community Soup Kitchen (CSK), rooted in a shared commitment to fight hunger in New Haven. With Christion’s leadership, we look forward to strengthening this collaboration and expanding the impact of our work together.
We also take this opportunity to honor the volunteers who make our pantry possible. Many have served alongside our team for many years. We could not serve as many people as seamlessly as we do without them.
